They were very similar tonight as in the World Cup. Just lacking any creativity and ended up creating chances by hitting balls at the BIG LADS.
Alli just not involved and he has to come up with someone or something else.

Waddle wrote a good piece on BBC saying we lack a Gazza like maverick that can be a game changer. We coach special risk taking talent out of kids while they are very young. He’s spot on.
We’ve got loads of decent reliable hard working players, but nobody who can do that special extra bit.
I reckon Morrison was the last hope of that, as he was potentially more special than Gazza, but even more crazy; too crazy.

If I was Southgate I’d have young Foden of Man City in the squad and start to bring him in via friendlies.
They don’t have someone like Isco who played as though the ball was glued to his foot or Thiago.

Spain are a good side laden with attacking MF talent in the areas that we are weaker, their WC performance was way below their actual position
We have the makings of a useful side but need a no 10 to challenge the likes of Spain and the top four or five
Southgate is doing well with what he has, Foden is the boy and perhaps Sanchez
Just calm down and watch the lads develop, two years until the Euros, harder than the WC to win, but we will be close to the semis, perhaps in them
